Life lessons you learn in your early twenties...
Well twenties is the age when people expect you to turn mature all of a sudden.. At this point in life you go through a change in everything.. You get out of college, start your job or internship.. Loose touch with your buddies with whom you used to spend hours together at one point of time .. You get a different perspective about life.. You start seeing things differently.. New friends new relationships, life becomes a roller coaster ride in your early twenties with a couple of highs and lows.. So here I'm just jotting down the life lessons that I learnt in my early twenties...
1. You realise who your real friends are.. You filter out all your friends.. You end up having only a few close friends and you realise that what matters is not how many pals you have but how they actually are.. And these friends who stick with you are going to be with you forever.
2. You stop giving a shit about people leaving cause you realise people who want to stay are obviously going to stay.. If you have to force people to stay in your life it isn't worth it..
3. You realise that your family loves you a lot and they're gonna stick with you through all your thicks and thins and you know that they'll never ever give up on you.. You get more close to your family, realise that they care about you and thank your stars for being blessed with them...
4. You stop fooling around and start taking your career seriously and you actually think about settling down..
5. You realise that you can't please every Tom, Dick and Harry and you stop giving fucks... Sorry for the language :p
6. You learn to let go.. You let go people, your anger, frustration and you try to be a better person than you were yesterday.. And like po(the big fat panda) you atleast are on the track of finding inner peace and are successful to some extent too :-)
7. You accept your mistakes and work towards fixing them and not repeating them...
8. You realise that you should stop punishing yourself for other people's mistakes.
9. You've become more mature than you were in your teens. You actually can tell the difference between the genuinely nice people from the ones who "pretend to care" about you.
10. You finally realize that you're the master of your own happiness. You deserve a shot at being happy. Don't let anything come between you and your happiness.
So live life king size, enjoy those happy moments, life is a roller coaster like I already said, so obviously there are going to be ups and downs; and like I always say remember " It's not the end if it's not happy" and always always remember While writing the story of your life don't let anyone else hold the pen✒ ;-)
